5 ways the Qur’an Helps Us Understand Allah

Quran is the guiding light for all people not just Muslims to be specific. It helps us understand everything about everyone but the best part of the Quran is, it helps us understand Allah in an incredible way. Allah is the Creator of the Universe, the King of everything, the Master, the Merciful and the Perfect one. He knows what He is doing, the Quranic is written by Him, and this is the reason it is impossible to find any flaws in the Holy Quran.

The Holy Quran clearly shows us how Allah loves His people and how we can love Him back in the easiest ways. Here I have the best ways Quran help us in understanding the Almighty:

  • Submission to Allah

The Quran and the religion clearly state that all the living beings are made to worship the Almighty and this is the only reason we have to stay alive. The best way to understand Allah is to submit to Him and to bow down to Him for everything in life. Whatever He decides for us, is obviously because He knows everything whereas we don’t know.

Quran: “And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah].” (2:45)

  • Sincerity to Allah

There is no one more sincere to us than the Almighty who created us, and in return, we must be sincere to Him as well. We must believe Him with the bottom of the heart, we must love Him, and we should do what He likes, and we should leave the things He does not like. And there is no better way to get close to Him than this one.

Quran: “And when they meet those who believe, they say, ‘We have believed’; but when they are alone with one another, they say, ‘Do you talk to them about what Allah has revealed to you so they can argue with you about it before your Lord?’ Then will you not reason?” (2:76)

  • Commitment to Allah

When you believe someone with all your heart, it requires a sincere commitment, and this is the reason we must commit to Allah strongly with no doubts in heart and mind.

One must be a good practicing Muslim and commit to Allah and supplicate. Allah will take ten steps towards you if you take one step towards Him so if you commit to Him strongly; imagine how sincerely He would commit with you?! And what else do you need from your life if you have Allah?!

  • Allah remember those who remember Him

It is clearly mentioned in the Quran that Allah loves His loyal servants. And you must remember Him in day and night by dhikr and be regular in your salah and ask Allah for everything that you need and want.

Quran: “So remember me, and I will remember you.” (2:152)

  • Thankful to Allah

Allah loves it when the believer is thankful to Him for whatever He gives. People who are thankful to Allah, Allah will obviously increase them in peace and wealth.

Quran: “If you are grateful (to me), I shall most certainly give you more and more.” (14:7)

These are few of the simple things that Quran teach us about Allah, and these things help us in understanding Allah in a better way. He is the most beneficial, and He is the most merciful!
